We live in Alexandria, VA, and we love Rosa Mexicano! We go to the one at National Harbor. They won’t let me eat the chips there, so I eat the guac on the warm corn tortillas. I get this lobster or shrimp thing with pumpkin seeds and a rich spicy sauce (mole?) that’s to die for. Moving here from Southern California, we are very picky about our Mexican food and this made the cut, along with Oyamel on 7th St. in The District where I recently had a grasshopper taco (pic on my blog).

Absolutely! The guac is the best. So good. If only I could still go to Baltimore’s Nacho Mama’s.

Yes, I definitely need to try El Taco. I LOVE Ecco which is another in that restaurant group. Unfortunately they don’t fry their chips in a separate fryer so no chips and guac for me at El Taco. They have other good options though. Thanks for checking out the website!
