Hi Heather! I'm so glad you found this post helpful. It's hard to find things that taste and sound good during those early month of pregnancy.

Thanks for your feedback, Alice! I haven't been back to Flying Biscuit in the last year or so because I've gotten similar feedback and confusion about whether or not their potatoes are actually GF.

I love this book as well. It is like I wrote it myself - all the recipes are so me! I love the rice casserole (I, too, use a combo of brown and wild). And the broccoli and potato gribiche - I used brussels instead of broccoli and loved it!

I just tried the Chocolate Crinkles, and they are so good! I wish they'd had the other flavors, but they were sold out. I got the very last Moondance box. After reading your review, I'll have to keep looking for the others.

I'm glad you had such a good experience there! But I wanted to chime in to let you know that I got glutened when I went there this weekend, in case you're thinking about going back. My server was really sweet, and they even re-made my veggie scramble when the first one was brought out with a biscuit on the plate, but something got me (probably either the scramble or the potatoes, since the fruit and OJ are (hopefully) safe). It doesn't sound like you go here often, but I just wanted to let you know in case you're headed over there any time soon.

Thanks for such a great blog - we were really glad to go to Leon's on our trip (partly due to your recommendation), and I'll be looking for other pointers whenever we're headed up to Atlanta next.
